Continuing our discovery on emotions. We talked in group time, played a game where we had to match cards to make an emotional face and later we read a book on being nervous. Later we we


re allowed to draw our own faces on the big board.

Children experience complex feelings just like adults. They get frustrated, excited, nervous, sad, jealous, frightened, worried, angry and embarrassed. However young children usually don't have the vocabulary to talk about how they are feeling. By providing these types of activities we are providing them in a safe environment, where we are able to challenge and work through any preconceived ideas that the children may have..
