This week we celebrate NAIDOC week and continue to support our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community as we promote and embeed as many educational activities as possible to further the children's learning about diversity and indigenous culture. N

AIDOC Week celebrations are held across Australia each year to celebrate the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

In our Kangaroo Room, the Children all choose to make handprint flag painting.

In our Koala Room, the children decorated biscuits with icing sugar which represented each colour of the Aboriginal flag. The children loved making these and enjoyed tasting their very own creations.

Another exciting activity in the Koala room, was dot painting. All the children firstly sat down and had a group time with Miss Lily. They sang songs together. Next it was time to get creative and create their own dot paintings.. Photos from Pebbles Early Learning Centre's post.
