"Pebblessence"

"A passionate community spirit directed at enriching the lives of others"

Our Missions

Our mission is to provide an upmarket, well-respected, and responsible service where families can confidently allow their children to be educated, loved, and respected by educators and teachers who are passionate about raising the next generation. We are aware that the children we raise today, are the ones deciding the policy about aged care in the future!
We believe in play-based learning for young minds and strive to provide the best possible early years to kickstart their journey to a stronger future.
We aim to build meaningful relationships with children, families, and the broader community through mutual respect, trust, and inclusiveness

Our Philosophy

“I believe the children are our future
Teach them well and let them lead the way
Show them all the beauty they possess inside
Give them a sense of pride to make it easier
Let the children's laughter remind us how we used to be”
                                            Masser & Creed (1977)
We believe that self-esteem is the critical component to optimal growth in young children. In order for children to develop a strong sense of well-being, we focus on developing the socialisations and self-help skills needed to succeed in other areas of development. Children at Pebbles Early Learning Centre are given the opportunity to confidently involve themselves, to explore, experiment, communicate and create in a safe and nurturing environment. They are provided with developmentally appropriate care which supports emotional, social, physical and spiritual growth, and encourages them to contribute to their world.
All children are treated with love and respect and provided the opportunity to engage in a wide variety of activities. Our most fundamental objective is to provide our children with a safe, clean and loving environment, in which each child will feel that they are safe, secure and supported.
We value our staff and provide ongoing professional development to ensure continual improvement and the best possible environments and outcomes for the children. We provide support, encouragement and a mentally safe workplace.
Families and community are respected and encouraged to interact and participate in all aspects of our days. Cultural competence and safety is embedded throughout the program. Sustained conversations and communal partnerships encourage seamless transitions for the children.

Banka (Service Director)

Firmly believing that all children deserve a bright future, Banka established the Early Learning Centre in Raby to help young children shape the lives they want to live. She feels privileged about being given the chance to influence young children in a positive way. Banka is also passionate about and committed to making meaningful connections with children, their families, and the whole community.
A strong advocate of relationship-based care, Banka is competent and confident in creating a learning environment where children can discover their unique gifts and work to harness these gifts to secure a brighter future.
Banka worked with reputable Child Care Centres in the northern suburbs of Sydney for many years. The birth of their son, Reon, rekindled Banka’s passion for caring, assisting, teaching, and guiding young children. Her husband’s growing interest in childcare also helped bolster Banka’s confidence and readiness in setting up the Early Learning Centre in Raby.
Already with a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, she is pursuing a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education to better provide young learners at the Learning Centre with excellent learning experiences. She believes that her professional competence in managing the unique learning needs and experiences of children will make her and her team instrumental in the positive shaping of the lives of children.
Not only is Banka dedicated to advancing the development and care of children. She is also passionate about the personal and professional growth and development of everyone else in the Centre. She believes that everyone needs the right motivation to become better persons, whether it is through continuing professional development opportunities or a better wage. Getting employees motivated is as important as helping children secure their future.
Banka envisions a well-respected childcare centre that helps children have the best start in their lives through a collaborative partnership with their families and the community.
